Video Assessment

Video Inspection

See what the seller isn't showing you
$299
CAD · One-time

This is where physical condition assessment actually happens. The seller or buyer provides a video walkthrough and we go through it frame by frame — assessing body condition, mechanical systems, and everything visible on camera. We know where problems hide. We know what to look for. You get the full picture, not the highlight reel sellers want you to see.

What's Included
  • Everything in Listing Review
  • Transport Canada & NHTSA recall database search
  • Condition-rated assessment of every visible system
  • Estimated repair costs for any flagged items
  • Body & cosmetic analysis — delamination, oxidation & damage patterns
  • Mechanical systems visible on video — slides, awnings & tires
  • Severity-rated findings PDF with colour-coded condition badges
  • Negotiation leverage report — talking points built from the findings
  • A clear answer: buy, negotiate, or walk away
Note: Covers visible structural, mechanical, and cosmetic systems. Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and braking systems require hands-on access or disassembly and are not included in a remote video inspection.
Ideal For
  • Buyers seriously considering a specific vehicle
  • Out-of-province or long-distance purchases where travel isn't worth the risk
  • Anyone who wants to know what the seller isn't volunteering
  • Purchases in the $10,000–$80,000 range
  • Buyers who want concrete leverage going into price negotiations

Common Questions
Before you book

Do I need to have a listing to use your service?

No. The Listing Review works with any materials you can provide — a Facebook ad, a Kijiji listing, a set of photos, or even a general description of a vehicle. If you've already purchased and want a condition assessment, we can work from photos and video you take yourself.

Does the seller need to be involved?

For the Listing Review, no — we work entirely from what you send us. For the Video Inspection and Full Assessment, we need a video of the RV. You can shoot it yourself if you have access, or ask the seller to walk through it on camera. Most sellers are happy to do this. If a seller refuses, we'll note that in your report — it's often a red flag worth knowing about.

What systems can't you assess remotely?

Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and braking systems all require hands-on access, physical testing, or disassembly to assess properly — none of which is possible through a video. Trailer brakes in particular require removing components to check shoe wear and bearing condition, so we don't attempt to assess what we can't see accurately. We'd rather be straight with you about what's outside our scope than give you false confidence on something that matters. If any of these systems are a concern, we'll flag it and recommend next steps in your report.

How long does it take to receive my report?

Listing Review and Video Inspection reports are delivered within 48 hours of receiving all materials. Full Assessment reports are delivered within 24 hours. We'll confirm your timeline when we acknowledge your booking.

Who performs the inspections?

Every RigReport is prepared personally by Ryan Bergeron — Red Seal certified RV technician and Technical Safety BC certified installer with over 10 years and 500+ vehicles assessed. Every report carries his name and represents his professional opinion based on the materials provided. We don't outsource, we don't use checklists filled out by assistants.

Can you inspect any type of RV?

We inspect Class A, B, and C motorhomes, fifth wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers, and truck campers. If you're unsure whether your vehicle qualifies, reach out before booking.
